Olena’s Story
Olena Bondarenko came to North Carolina over two years ago with her daughter. Recently diagnosed with cancer, she’s now navigating treatment, medication side effects, and the financial strain of maintaining their household — all while working multiple jobs.
We made a promise to Olena: while she focuses on healing, we’ll step in to help secure her daughter’s future.
Campaign Goal
We’re aiming to raise enough funds to cover Olena’s daughter’s college tuition and ease their financial burden. We will run this fundraiser until May 31st, hoping to connect with some of our most generous supporters to help us help a single mother who not only became displaced by the war but is yet again now facing another fight for her life.
